Coldplay Have New Songs
It’s been a mere five months since Coldplay released Viva La Vida, and already frontman Chris Martin is hard at work on new music.
Killers Album Moved Up
Killers fans will be able to get their hands on the band’s new album earlier than expected. Billboard reports that Island/Def Jam is moving up the release date for Day & Age to Monday, November 24th.
Strokes To Return In '09
The New York band The Strokes plan on regrouping in February 2009 to begin work on their fourth album. Billboard spoke to drummer Fabrizio Moretti who says they are all still pals and plan on “noodling around and stuff” next year.
New Oasis Already In The Works
Oasis just released a new album, but it appears that the follow-up to Dig Out Your Soul is already in the works. Noel Gallagher told Billboard that he has written and demoed their next record and has begun work on his solo record.
Deftones Bassist In Coma
California rock band Deftones have confirmed that their bassist, Chi Cheng, was involved in a car accident in Santa Clara, CA that has left him in a "very serious" coma. Reports around the internet now say that Chi is in a more stable condition and is responding well to treatment.

Coldplay are doing the ladies a favor this week. The guys have released their new video for “Lovers in Japan” to iTunes, and it’s free to download.
The Killers Announce Tour
The Killers will set free their third album, Day & Age, on November 25th - and now it’s confirmed that they’ll be following it up with a US tour.
Offspring Upload New Video
You can check out The Offspring’s new clip for “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid” right now. The video has a Wizard of Oz, dreamlike feel to it and was directed by Chris Hopewell, who made Radiohead’s “There There” clip.
Live Releasing New CD/DVD
Live will be releasing a live CD/DVD culled from their shows on June 30th and July 1st, 2008 in Amsterdam. LIVE At the Paradiso - Amsterdam is due out on November 11th.

Scars On Broadway Cancel Tour
